Ayurvedic Herbal Decoction:
Water – 1 cup
Ginger – 1 small piece.
Tulsi – 4 leaves
Turmeric – 1 pinch
Black pepper – 5 seeds
Honey – 1 teaspoon
Rock salt – 1 pinch ( optional)
Take 1 glass water and add ginger tulsi and blackpepper, reduce it to half a glass water and add turmeric, honey and salt.
This decoction helps in increasing the immunity of our body which prevents from diseases.
Also this decoction is an excellent home remedy for cough, it cures sore throat and scratchy throat. Honey will help soothe the irritation of throat.
This herbal plant helps absorb pollutants and may also detoxify the effects. Keep a bunch of neem leaves at home to purify the air at home. Wash your face, hair with neem leaves boiled in water. Neem has other benefits like curing leprosy eye disorders, intestinal worms, skin ulcers, diseases of heart , gum diseases, fever diabetes and liver problems.
Just take few Tulsi leaves crush it and add a few drops of honey . Have it daily to prevent pollutants from messing up your respiratory tract.
Just take half teaspoon of turmeric with honey empty stomach in the morning everyday. Turmeric has anti inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It helps to reduce depression and pain related to arthritis.
Triphala is traditional ayurvedic herbal formulation which balances tridosas and helps boost immunity. Triphala churnam should be taken at night with honey at bedtime.
Laddus made with Jaggery and Dry Ginger:
Dry ginger powder and jaggery are taken in equal quantity and a pinch of pippali churnam is added and made into small ball sized laddus. This laddu should be consumed daily whichis excellent for small children.
Pomegranate juice is an excellent drink to purify blood and also a brilliant cardiovascular protective drug.
Warm home cooked food:
Incorporate herbs such as turmeric, ginger, pepper carom seeds etc.add some ginger or tulsi leaves to your regular cup of chai.
Full body oil massage with medicated oils helps in relieving stiffness and relaxes the muscles, allows toxins to be released from the body, helps to reduce anxiety and increases sleep.
Steam inhalation with water boiled with tulsi leaves. It helps looses build up dirt for a deeper cleanse.
