Panchakarma treatment in Gurgaon at AyurNava follows the classical Kerala method: a doctor-led programme that prepares your body, gently clears built-up toxins (ama) and then helps you rebuild strength.
It's done at our NABH-certified Panchakarma centres on Golf Course Road and Sohna Road. In addition, Kerala-trained therapists carry out the treatments, using genuine Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala medicines.
Life in Gurugram, with long commutes, late dinners, screens and work stress, slowly throws digestion, sleep and energy off balance. Panchakarma is Ayurveda's way of resetting that balance. It isn't a spa package. Instead, it's a medical programme planned by a BAMS doctor after a detailed consultation, and adjusted day by day as your body responds.
In short: Panchakarma treatment in Gurgaon at AyurNava is a doctor-supervised Kerala Ayurveda detox programme, usually 7, 14 or 21 days long. It is available at two NABH-certified clinics, on Golf Course Road (Sector 42) and Sohna Road (Sector 48), open every day from 8 AM to 8 PM. Treatment starts with a BAMS doctor consultation, and the cost is shared after that consultation.

Panchakarma (also written Panchkarma) means "five actions" in Sanskrit. These are five cleansing procedures described in the classical Ayurvedic texts. Your doctor chooses one or more of them, rarely all five, based on your body type (Prakriti), your current imbalance (Vikriti) and your overall health.
Vamana
What it involves: Therapeutic vomiting, done under close medical supervision after several days of preparation.
Especially useful for: Kapha-related problems such as chronic congestion, allergies and some skin conditions.
Virechana
What it involves: Controlled purgation using herbal medicines, usually after a few days of preparation.
Especially useful for: Pitta-related problems such as acidity, skin issues and liver or digestive complaints.
Basti (Sneha / Anuvasana Basti)
What it involves: A course of medicated oil (Sneha or Anuvasana) and herbal decoction enemas, given on alternate days or in a set sequence.
Especially useful for: Vata-related problems such as back pain, joint pain, constipation and nerve conditions.
Nasya (Nasyam)
What it involves: Medicated oil or herbal drops given through the nose, usually after a gentle face and head massage.
Especially useful for: Sinusitis, migraine, headaches and some neck and shoulder problems.
Raktamokshana
What it involves: Controlled bloodletting, sometimes using leeches, done in small, measured amounts.
Especially useful for: Selected skin conditions and localised inflammation.
All five procedures and every supporting therapy on this page are available at both our Golf Course Road and Sohna Road clinics. They follow the same treatment protocols and use the same genuine medicines, so you get the same care whichever clinic you choose.
People come to us for two broad reasons: to manage a long-standing health problem, or to detox and rejuvenate before small problems become big ones. In particular, Panchakarma is commonly recommended for:
People notice different things depending on why they came, but these are the changes patients describe most often after a full programme.
Better Digestion
Less bloating, acidity and heaviness after meals, and a more regular appetite.
Deeper Sleep, Calmer Mind
Therapies like Shirodhara and Abhyanga settle the nervous system after months of work stress.
Less Pain and Stiffness
Oil therapies and Basti help ease long-standing back, neck and joint pain.
More Steady Energy
Many people feel lighter and less sluggish once their digestion and sleep improve.
Clearer Skin
Detox and blood-purifying therapies support people with eczema, psoriasis and acne.
Habits That Last
You leave with a simple diet and routine plan, so the benefits don't fade in a week.
Of course, results vary from person to person. That's why your doctor will tell you what's realistic for your condition at the first consultation.
However, Panchakarma isn't right for everyone at every time. For example, your doctor may postpone or change your plan if you're pregnant, recovering from surgery, have an acute fever or infection, feel very weak, or have certain heart conditions. That's why every programme starts with a consultation, and why you should never stop prescribed medicines without talking to your doctor.
Panchakarma therapy in Gurgaon at AyurNava also includes supporting Kerala therapies alongside the main cleansing procedures. They loosen toxins, calm the nervous system and help the main treatment work better. Each card below can link to its own therapy page.
Abhyanga
Full-body massage with warm medicated oils chosen for your body type. It loosens stiffness and prepares the body for cleansing.
Swedana (Herbal Steam)
Gentle herbal steam after oil massage. It opens the body's channels so toxins can move towards the gut for removal.
Shirodhara
A steady stream of warm oil poured over the forehead. Deeply calming, and often used for stress, poor sleep and migraine. Read more about Shirodhara
Netra Tarpana
Medicated ghee held over the eyes. Soothing for dry, tired eyes after long hours at a screen.
Janu Basti
Warm medicated oil held over the knee inside a ring of dough. Targeted relief for knee pain and stiffness. The same method is used for the lower back (Kati Basti) and neck (Greeva Basti).
Udvartanam
A brisk dry-powder herbal massage that improves circulation. Often part of weight-management programmes.
Every Panchakarma treatment in Gurgaon at AyurNava follows the same three classical stages, preparation, cleansing and recovery, with a doctor checking on you throughout.
Our 7-day programme is the most popular way to start Panchakarma treatment in Gurgaon, especially for first-timers and busy professionals. Here's what a typical week looks like. Of course, your doctor will adjust the therapies to suit you.
Generally, programmes run for 7, 14 or 21 days. However, your doctor will recommend the length that fits your condition. Because every plan is different, the cost is discussed only after your doctor consultation.
| Programme | Best suited to |
|---|---|
| 7 days | First-timers, a seasonal detox, stress and sleep problems |
| 14 days | Most long-standing pain, digestive and skin conditions |
| 21 days | Chronic or complex conditions and deep rejuvenation |

Panchakarma is also available at our other clinics: Panchakarma in Dwarka, Panchakarma in Noida, Panchakarma in South Delhi.
AyurNava offers Panchakarma treatment in Gurgaon at two NABH-certified clinics: Plot No. 823, Magnolias Road, Sector 42, Golf Course Road (122009), and P-108, Badshahpur Sohna Road, Sector 48 (122018). Both offer the same procedures and therapies and are open every day from 8 AM to 8 PM.
Panchakarma is Ayurveda's five-part cleansing therapy: Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya and Raktamokshana. A doctor chooses the procedures that suit your body type and condition, with a preparation stage before and a recovery diet after.
No. Massage such as Abhyanga is one part of Panchakarma, but Panchakarma is a complete medical programme. Instead of one therapy, it includes preparation, cleansing procedures, a special diet and recovery, all planned and supervised by a doctor.
Yes, when it's planned and supervised by a qualified Ayurvedic doctor. Feeling tired, having a lighter appetite or loose stools during Virechana are expected parts of the process. In addition, your doctor checks on you throughout and will adjust or pause treatment if needed.
Classical Ayurveda links some procedures to seasons, for example Vamana in spring, Virechana in autumn and Basti during the monsoon. In practice, Panchakarma can be done at any time of year when your doctor finds it suitable, and the procedures are chosen to match the season.
For example, your doctor may postpone or change Panchakarma if you're pregnant, recovering from surgery, have an acute fever or infection, feel very weak, or have certain heart conditions. That's why every programme starts with a consultation. Also, never stop prescribed medicines without talking to your doctor.
Every Panchakarma plan is different, so we don't quote a fixed price. Instead, the cost depends on which procedures your doctor recommends and for how many days, and it is shared with you only after your doctor consultation. Our team can also check whether your health insurance covers your treatment.
Our 7-day programme starts with a doctor's consultation and includes daily supporting therapies such as Abhyanga and herbal steam, one main cleansing procedure chosen by your doctor, and a diet and routine plan to follow at home. Of course, your doctor adjusts the plan to suit you.
Most people need 7 to 21 days. A seasonal detox or stress programme can be done in about a week, while long-standing problems like arthritis, psoriasis or chronic back pain usually need 14 to 21 days. Overall, your doctor will recommend the right length after examining you.
Generally, many health insurance policies in India now cover Ayurvedic treatment at NABH-accredited centres. We offer cashless and reimbursement options for eligible Panchakarma treatments. Share your policy details with us and we'll help you check your cover before you start.
On most days, yes. Many patients do light desk work around their sessions during the preparation stage. However, on the main cleansing days your doctor will ask you to rest at home and avoid travel, late nights and heavy exercise.
Warm, light, freshly cooked food such as khichdi, rice gruel and soups. At the same time, you'll be asked to avoid cold drinks, fried food, alcohol and heavy meals. Your doctor will give you a day-by-day diet plan, because food is part of the treatment.
Generally, many people sleep better and feel lighter within the first week. For long-standing conditions, improvement is usually gradual and keeps building in the weeks after the programme, especially if you follow the diet and routine your doctor gives you.
For a few days after the programme, avoid heavy, fried and cold food, alcohol, late nights, strenuous exercise and long travel. Return to your normal diet gradually, as your doctor advises, so your digestion stays strong.
It can support weight management. Therapies such as Udvartanam, detox procedures and a personalised diet plan help, but lasting results depend on following the diet and routine afterwards. Your doctor will also tell you what's realistic for you.
To begin with, you have a simple consultation. After that, our doctor will tell you honestly whether Panchakarma is right for you, how long it will take and what it will cost.
